  Each program has individual admissions requirements. To be considered for admission, you must meet or exceed the requirements for your chosen program. You must also meet the English proficiency requirement at a level suitable for your desired program. Program-specific admission requirements can be found on the 'Admission Info' tab of each program profile for Coast Mountain College on EducationPlannerBC's program search database. 

  For most of Coast Mountain College's programs, applicants are offered admission on a first qualified, first admitted basis. 

  All other applicants must demonstrate all four components of language: speaking, listening, reading and writing. For more information on how to satisfy language requirements, please go to Domestic English Equivalent Options or Internationally-Recognized English Equivalent Testing Requirements.

For instance many CMTN programs have entrance requirements that include proof of secondary school graduation and/ or completion of secondary school courses.

  CMTN admits applicants with any level of education. However, you will also have to meet any admission requirements of your intended program. For instance many CMTN programs have entrance requirements that include proof of secondary school graduation and/ or completion of secondary school courses.

• BC Transfer Student

  You must meet the specific admission requirements of your intended program. The program-specific admission requirements are detailed within each program profile for Coast Mountain College (CMTN) in EducationPlannerBC's Program Search Database.

  If you have completed post-secondary studies at another institution and wish to gain transfer credit, please refer to CMTN's Transfer Credit web page. The transfer credit evaluation process involves a form, a fee, and sealed, official transcripts.

  To have courses from another institution evaluated for transfer credit at CMTN, you must submit an Transfer Credit Request Form along with official transcripts from each institution attended. Use the BC Transfer Guide to check whether or not your course from another BC post-secondary institution is eligible for transfer credit. For more information about transferring credit, please contact a CMTN educational advisor.

  Select programs accept mature students (applicants over the age of 19) in lieu of high school graduation. Individual course requirements (for example, English 12) still need to be met for program entry.  Programs where accrediting bodies explicitly require high school graduation are exempt.
