Disability or Accessibility Services

Your Success Is Important

BC post-secondary institutions will have disability or accessibility services department that are designed to help you be successful in your program.

All BC post-secondary institutions have a disability or accessibility services department that works one-on-one with students to ensure their needs are met and can achieve their education and work/life goals.

If you have a disability, or find certain aspects about attending class or learning challenging, make an appointment with your institution's disability or accessibility service centre and find the appropriate supports you need to succeed.

Plan ahead - make an appointment at least three months before you would like to begin your studies. Find out what you need to bring with you to the appointment. Know that your personal information is kept confidential and will not be shared with your future instructors without your permission.

Working with an accessibility services advisor can help you plan and have supports you may need in place for when you start.
