1. If you lack high school courses to meet the academic admission requirements, you can take upgrading courses. You are encouraged to talk to TRU's student recruiter about your options.

If you have completed some post-secondary studies at another institution, you can possibly earn transfer credits toward your program at TRU-Campus. Please refer to TRU's Transfer Credit web page. The BC Transfer Guide allows you to check on the transferability of your courses taken at another BC post-secondary institution.
Once you apply to TRU, and submit your official transcripts, you will be automatically assessed for transfer credit.

For admission purpose, mature students are defined as any applicant of at least 19 years of age who has not graduated from high school. Students classified as mature may have the grade-level admission requirement waived, for example grade 11, grade 12, etc., but they are still required to meet a program’s other admission requirements and all course pre-requisites.
