Overview
The Collaborative Conflict Resolution Certificate is for anyone who is considering a career as a private-practice mediator. The training hours gained in this specialization can be applied towards admission to the Mediate BC Roster and ADR Institute of British Columbia (ADRBC). You will learn the foundations of collaborative conflict resolution with a focus on self-awareness in conflict. You will apply this understanding through conflict engagement processes including coaching, negotiation and mediation. Mediate BC Roster - Civil and Family Roster applicants can also apply their successful Certificate in Collaborative Conflict Resolution assessment to the experience portion of their application. It can count for up to three mediations (and nine hours of mediation time) toward the experience requirement of 10 mediations for the roster application.
