 The Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering is highly interdisciplinary in nature, and supports inquiry-based and creative learning through the development of skills to identify, formulate, and solve complex engineering problems by methods that include appropriate experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of information.

1.	High school graduation or equivalent.
2.	English 12 (73%) or equivalent
3.	Pre-calculus 12 (67%) or equivalent
4.	Chemistry 11 (67%) or equivalent
5.	Physics 11 (67%) or equivalent
Note: Physics 12 is preferred.
 
If you have completed a year of post-secondary studies in science or related studies, you can also be considered on a case-by-case basis and will require the approval of the TRU engineering undergraduate admission committee. You are expected to have:
•	Overall GPA of 3.00 (B) or better
•	Grades of B (or better) in first-year         
        mathematics courses
•	Grades of B (or better) in first-year physics 
        courses
•	Grades of B (or better) in first-year 
        chemistry courses
•	Grades of C+ (or better) in first-year
        English courses

2. Admission is competitive based on grades in Grade 11 and 12 prerequisite courses.
3. Students who have completed parts of a first-year engineering program at a recognized university will be considered for admission on a case by case basis and require approval of the TRU Engineering Undergraduate Admission Committee.  It may require an upgrade or completion of pre-requisite courses.
