Overview
The Mechanical Engineering Technology Diploma includes an emphasis on Computer-Aided-Design and Computer-Aided-Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) technology, as well as an introduction to robotics and automation. You also have the option to include co-operative education or an internship. Upon graduation, you’ll be involved in the analysis, design, production, and maintenance of machinery and mechanical devices. Career opportunities are available in manufacturing, transportation, mining, communications, paper, construction, and also consulting.
