Overview
The Automated Controls Installation and Maintenance (ACIM) Advanced Certificate builds upon the knowledge and skills evolved during an electrician apprenticeship or an engineer’s practical training and experience. The program consists of 50% lab and activities, 40% classroom learning, and 10% online learning. Course topics include drafting and renewable energy systems, programmable logic controllers, robotics, industrial communication and data acquisition, and more. Once you graduate, you may find employment in manufacturing, utility plants, railway, shipbuilding, government, pulp and paper mills, oil and gas transport, and mining.
