The University Studies allows you to take as many or as few courses as necessary. Many courses transfer to other institutions and can be customized and/or to help students move seamlessly into the university or program of your choice.

No formal admission requirements indicated. However, some courses have specific registration requirements (called course prerequisites) which are listed under each NIC course description.

Academic Admission Requirement

1. NIC offers high-school equivalent upgrading courses if you need help meeting prerequisites for registration into individual courses.

2. Course transferability can be searched at BC Transfer Guide. 

Admission Advice

Applications may be submitted starting 11 months before the intended program start date. Early application is recommended. Applications are open on the first business day in October. Students are accepted on a first applied, first qualified basis. Early application is encouraged.
