Overview
The Bachelor of Music Therapy begins in the third year of the program, with the first two years of the program focusing in a variety of areas, including music and psychology. In the program, you'll diversify your skill set, with training in theory, ear training and sight singing, music and jazz history, improvisation, counselling and interpersonal skills, psychology and an understanding of music and the creative arts. Through practicums and classroom learning, you'll train to design, implement and evaluate your own treatment programs and deepen your experience of music, creative expression and the role of arts in therapy.
