The UBC Extended Learning Centre for Equitable Systems Design (CESD) developed the UBC Micro-certificate in Equitable Systems Design (ESD) for leaders, managers, and staff from all sectors and departments who are interested in implementing equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) strategies within their organizations. The ESD program is a participatory experience where learners work together to examine current EDI efforts, tackle systemic issues in the work place and design solutions to facilitate equity-forward improvements within their workplaces and communities.
