This Advanced Forensic Nurse Examiner (FNE) micro-credential builds upon the Forensic Nurse Examiner micro-credential. It offers ongoing educational support for FNEs, so they can refresh their skills, gain specialized competencies to meet patient and legal system needs, and maintain their credibility as expert witnesses in court.

No formal admission requirements indicated, but the following is recommended for success:
Completion of the following courses:
1. FSCT 7810 - Introduction to Forensic Health Sciences
2. FSCT 7840 - Forensic Nurse Examiner Core Education: Theoretical Aspects (or permission from forensics department)
3. Experience as a Forensic Nurse Examiner

Academic Admission Requirement

Part-time Studies applications accepted throughout the year for intakes in January, April and September.
