The Designing for Accessibility micro-credential allows you to learn to remove accessibility barriers in design to ensure equality and inclusion of access and experience for differently abled bodies. This course explores the value of accessibility, different disability types, assistive technologies, accessibility regulations and the language of accessibility for digital products. You will examine and apply various Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), discover how to test for and document accessibility issues by applying several manual and automated accessibility testing methods, and present your recommendations for valuable, intuitive, and accessible digital content and interfaces. By the end of the course, you will have designed an accessible and responsive high-fidelity wireframe or prototype that demonstrates your knowledge of accessible design.
