The Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program (NCBNP) is offered in collaboration with partner institutions. Years 1 and 2 are provided through CNC (Prince George or Quesnel), CMTN (Terrace). Years 3 and 4 are provided by UNBC in Prince George, Quesnel, and Terrace. Upon completion of this program, you will receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) degree granted by UNBC. Graduates qualify to write the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) and to register with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).

1. Meet UNBC admission requirements with a minimum 70% average.
2. English 12 (70%) or equivalent
3. One of:
    - Foundations of Mathematics 11 (70%) or equivalent
    - Pre-calculus 11 (70%) or equivalent
    - Principles of Math 11 (70%) or equivalent
4. Chemistry 11 (70%) or equivalent
5. Anatomy and Physiology 12 (73%) or equivalent
6. Note: Please see UNBC nursing admission requirements as there may be more academic courses needed. 

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) access

License Practical Nurses (LPNs) who are applying for admission to the NCBNP must:
- meet all Northern Collaborative Baccalaureate Nursing Program admission requirements
- be a graduate of a Practical Nursing program recognized by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) since 1994
- have current practicing or be eligible for practicing registration with the BCCNM

Academic Admission Requirement

1. This is a collaboration program with UNBC. 
2. To meet admission requirements, students in grade 12 may submit expected final grades for courses in progress.
3. To meet admission requirements, students completing upgrading courses can submit interim grades once they are 50% through the course. 
4. If English is not your first language, regardless of citizenship or country of origin, you must provide evidence of English language proficiency prior to admission.
    - Fulfillment of the BC Secondary School English Studies 12 requirements (70%) or equivalent
    - Either an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) Academic or CELBAN (Canadian English Language Assessment for Nurses) with current, valid results and scores as set by British Columbia College in Nursing Professionals (BCCNP) for the year of admission.

Limited seats; applications should be submitted as early as possible. A program for which seats are filled are based on approved selection criteria. Meeting the minimum requirements for admission does not guarantee acceptance to the program.
