The Interactive Technologies and Game Design Diploma prepares graduates to work in the growing information technology industry that combines management, marketing, internet, multimedia, networking, and software technologies to enhance business efficiency.

1. High school graduation or equivalent
2. English 12 (B) or equivalent
    - Note: If you meet the English proficiency requirement using an IELTS score and have a writing band of 6.0 or less, you are required to complete NLC English 099 with at least a "B" grade in your first semester at NLC.
3. Pre-calculus 11 (C) or equivalent

Academic Admission Requirement

1. If you do not meet the above admission requirements, you can gain program entry by successfully completing the appropriate assessments and/or upgrading courses. Feedback on the Assessments will be provided to help you make informed decisions about appropriate selection of upgrading courses. For more details, please contact an academic advisor at NLC.

2. Students are required to have a computer with the minimum NLC requirements. 

3. Aside from program entry/admission requirements, there are also specific course registration requirements (called course prerequisites) which are listed within Northern Lights College’s course description. Course prerequisite(s) = Course(s) which must be completed prior to registering in a given course. Please make sure you meet the course prerequisites before registering individual courses.

Admission Advice

Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is recommended.

This program is offered every two years (one cohort) starting May and September on odd years. Part-time learners can start the program in the January semester. Please contact NLC directly if you require more information.
