The Information Technology and Management Diploma provides the fundamentals of management after completing the Certificate in Information Technology. You can start with core knowledge in accounting, communications, management and organizational behaviour, then move on to IT and business electives.

1. Completion of the TRU-Open Learning's Social Service Worker certificate (2.67 GPA)

Note: Three pathway options are available for entry to the Human Service Diploma via TRU Kamloops campus, Williams Lake campus and Open Learning.
If you have successfully completed certificate programs from TRU on-campus programs of Education Assistant Community Support, Early Childhood Education or a similar certificate from other universities or colleges, you will be admitted if you have attained the required GPA. Graduates of non-TRU programs must submit an official transcript.

Academic Admission Requirement

1. Online application form, supporting documents and a program plan are required for open admission.

2. If you are admitted to the program, you must complete a Consent to a Criminal Record Check before you start a practicum placement.

3. Aside from program entry/admission requirements, there are also specific course registration requirements (called prerequisites) which are listed within TRU-OL course description. Prerequisite = Course that must be successfully completed prior to registering in a given course. Some courses have recommended or required course prerequisites. For course registration and program completion purposes, please check course prerequisites and make sure you are eligible before registering individual courses.

4. This program does not accept applications from international students as field education placements cannot be arranged for international students.
