Overview

The Livestock Production Certificate introduces you to the latest practices in animal breeding, nutrition, and health, including: pest biology; farm animal health and nutrition; equine, beef, sheep, goat, poultry, and swine management; farm safety; soils; and more. As part of the program, you also learn the fundamental business and writing skills required in the workplace. Graduates of this program are qualified to seek employment on farms, in related occupations as technicians, supplies representatives, and more.
