The BC Adult Graduation Diploma allows students to earn credit toward the completion of a BC Adult Grad diploma.

Config for institutions using the EPBC REST API

1. Minimum 18 years of age
2. Have completed at least 1 course through North Island College.
3. Earn at least 20 credits in the secondary system or complete 5 courses in the post secondary system. Courses and credits can be counted from the secondary school system and/or the post-secondary school system and/or the Adult Basic Education program.
4. Be granted credit for at least 3 courses as an adult at NIC, through the secondary school system, or through prior learning assessment (PLA).
5. Meet with an Educational Advisor to discuss upgrading goals. If a skills assessment is needed, it will be booked at this time.
6. Submit any transcripts you have.

Academic Admission Requirement

1. If you have a documented disability, please contact Accessible Learning Services for assistance with your assessment.
2. More information about Adult Basic Education (ABE) course levels and options can be found here.
3. If you wish to obtain the BC Adult Graduation Diploma (ex. Grade 12 equivalency), you must be at least 19 years old at the time of completion.
