Overview

The Foundations in Innovation and Technology Certificate introduces students to a range of technology-based fields in the knowledge-economy, with a specific focus on current opportunities in BC. This modular program offers students insight into the common tools and resources utilised by leading technology-driven industries, while supporting them to develop basic workplace and employment skills. You will gain hands-on experience in the following technology-based career sectors: Administrative Professional, Communication and Digital Marketing, Web Development and Coding, Software Testing, Network Set Up and Support, GIS/GPS Mapping. Upon successful completion of this program, you will have the opportunity to proceed into more advanced curriculum streams, co-ops and ongoing professional development training, facilitated by the First Nations Technology Council alongside industry and educational partners.
