The Accounting Technician Diploma can help you develop the skills to become an accounting para-professional working alongside professional accountants in industry and public practice. Your diploma credits count towards completion of the Bachelor of Business Administration.

1. One of:

- High school graduation or equivalent
- Minimum 19 years of age

2. English 12 (73%) or equivalent
3. Foundations of Math 12 (C+) or equivalent

Academic Admission Requirement

1. If you lack high school English and/ Math requirements for admission, you may begin your first-year university study by taking University Preparation courses to get started.  This may extend the length of your program. You are encouraged to talk to TRU's student recruiter about your options. 

Admission Advice

TRU begins accepting applications in October. Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is strongly recommended.
