Overview
The Bachelor's Degree in Education, Secondary prepares you to teach one or two teachable subjects in Grades 8 to 12 as a secondary school teacher. During this program, you are introduced to adolescent development and prepared methodologically to teach your subject(s). In addition to coursework, you'll take part in practicums and Community Field Experiences to put the theory and skills you've learned to practice. After graduation, you may go on to teach in local, rural, or international schools, or may apply your skills to careers outside of schools, such as in arts organizations, science centres, non-profit organizations, and others.
